"Lübeck, an ocean made of brick stone" - founded in 1143, Lübeck was a leading member of the Hanseatic League since the 14. century. Till today it presents a wide variety of historic buildings and is one of the most beautiful towns in Northern Germany. On sight seing tours we will give you an impression how the Baltic Sea influenced life and culture in Northern Germany.
We are going to visit Multimar-Wattforum, where we will be acquainted with the Wadden sea, the scientific methods and results for its protection. The Multimar Wattforum demonstrates how not only the Siberian Brent Geese, the harbor seal and the harbor porpoise, but also the surfers, the shrimp fishermen and the bathers enjoy life in harmony with nature.
We will also take a boattour to gather informations about the conflict of interest between coastal and nature protection. Depending on the tide, we might organise a walk in the Wadden Sea for those who are looking for a sportive activity.
