Support for Students - waivers of registration fees

We are attempting to find external funds to support the participation of students, probably in the form of a waiver of the registration fee. So far, Inter Research has offered 25 waivers of registration fees. These will be distributed by priority to students contributing oral lectures or posters to the session "Inter research symposium # 2 - effects of climate change on marine ecosystems". However, some of these waivers might remain available for students contributing to other sessions. More waivers might become available in the near future.

Application for a waiver is automatically included by ticking the "student"-box when submitting the abstract. Students should prove their status by a letter of support by their academic supervisor. The term "student" includes those PhD-candidates, who receive no salary or stipend for their PhD-work. This should be made stated explicitly in the letter of support.
